Stuck With a Small WordPress Job?

WordPress is a great platform for running a business website, but if you’re not a developer, even small jobs (a text edit, a broken layout, a plugin that needs installing) can eat up your afternoon.

If you’ve got something that needs doing but doesn’t justify a full project, that’s exactly what our Odd Jobs service is for. We quote a fixed price, do the work, and you’re done.

Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions? Here are some we get asked often. If yours isn’t answered here, include it in your Odd Job request below.

For a first-time Odd Job, we factor in time to review your site and confirm the access we need. Repeat jobs are usually quoted lower. If you need regular support, ask about our Management & Performance plans, which are better value for ongoing work.
Usually, yes. If someone else normally manages your site, check with them first. If they can’t help or you’d rather use us, we’re happy to step in.
Often, yes, provided we can get the access we need. Tell us what’s happening in the form below and we’ll be in touch to discuss it.
If there’s any real risk of that, we’ll back up your site first so we can roll back quickly. For some requests we may decline if we can’t safely mitigate the risk.
For simple content changes, usually not needed. For anything more involved, yes, and for higher-risk jobs we may work on a clone of your site so your live site is never at risk. This is included in the quoted price.
Log in to WordPress and check the Users menu. If you can add or delete users, you’re likely an Administrator. If you can’t see that option, or there’s no Plugins menu, you may have a lower-level account and will need to ask whoever manages your site to upgrade your access.
We’ll still complete the job for the quoted price wherever we can. If we find something blocking us (outdated software, a missing plugin, a security issue), we’ll contact you with options: re-quote, refund, or a different approach. You decide how to proceed.
Call us to check availability. We’ll do our best, though we can’t always guarantee urgent turnarounds, and priority jobs may carry an extra fee.
